What you are
Reporting to the Solutions Engineering Manager, the Applications Engineer will join our team in Ashburn, VA. As the Applications Engineer at Janitza, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful integration, deployment, and maintenance of power metering solutions for clients. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, supporting testing and configuration of unique solutions, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in electrical or applications engineering, preferably in the power management industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, data acquisition, and energy management solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with cross-functional teams and interacting professionally with clients.
- Proficiency in using engineering software tools and familiarity with programming languages commonly used in the industry, such as AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks.
- A keen problem solver with a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and blueprints.
